Bob has led quite the illustrious career in the hospitality industry having been a staple in the business for over 37 years. His experience includes: 10 years with Marriott, 3 years as President of The Bricton Group and 20 years in franchise sales and development with Intercontinental Hotel Group (IHG), serving the last 4 as the Vice President for North America. Ekman was pivotal in IHG’s growth as they became one of the most lauded hotel franchise organizations in the modern era. During his tenure, he was involved with over 2,700 new franchise deals and worked hard to ensure IHG’s development strategy was aligned with owners’ interests. In doing so, they assisted developers on site selection, budgeting, financing, design and construction, sales, marketing, pre-opening, and opening.

In 2014, Greg started Aden Leadership, a coaching & consulting firm focused on guiding and leading top performers and leaders so they may influence others. It is through language and behavior Greg coaches uses his transformational style of service leadership to help his clients create the relationships they desire. Greg is not only a leadership coach…but, also a master facilitator, inpisring speaker and business consultant.
Prior to his work in leadership development, Greg was the Vice President of Franchise Development-Western US with IHG. In this position, Greg led the strategic franchise development activity for five globally recognized brands and provided coaching and leadership for seven regional directors. Also with IHG, Greg was recognized as the most prolific franchise sales person in company history, setting and breaking all company sales records. Although development was his primary role he played, Greg believed it was serving clients to pursue what they said they ultimately wanted was his purpose. Greg has serviced the hospitality industry for over 30 years.
After this 30+ years of learning, sharing and growing within the hospitality and financial services industries, Greg is now living his clear passion by coaching and inspiring others to find their true sense of purpose in leadership and high performance all while in the service of others. Shane Skubis joins the MAH team as seasoned professional who shepherded the development of over 300 franchised hotels in 49 states. He also sold over 60 hotels in his 29-year hospitality career. Shane is a current Senior Vice President at Hospitality Real Estate Counselors Investment Analysis. (HREC IA) His skill set includes areas of purchase, development, sale of land, sales of hotels, market research and pricing, valuation, and sales process. His responsibilities have included finance, debt and investment, systems, asset management, land planning, zoning and entitlements, commercial leasing, construction, development of amenities.
He has worked with Coldwell Banker, Prudential, Wyndham, IHG (12 years), Jones Lang LaSalle, Marcus and Millichap, and HREC.
Shane loves the hospitality business, having completed a deal in 49 states, he also is an active hotel developer and most always looking for new projects. Shane is based in the heart of California Central Coast wine country where he with his fiancé Gillie Mcdonald plan to marry next year. They plan to celebrate with the biggest wine bottle they can find.
Shane Favorite Projects include San Diego Ballpark Hotel Indigo, and a $100M Midwest Portfolio deal. He played rugby for 25 years and competed in 4 national championships. His dogs are Rory and Pond, both German Shorthairs and also brother and sister.

Kyle is based in Nashville, TN and has made a career in the hospitality industry having previously worked in Franchise Sales as the Director of Development for Red Roof, La Quinta Inn & Suites and most recently, Wyndham Hotel & Resorts. His focus was on new construction development, where he worked closely with entrepreneurs on site selection, brand approvals, financing, and other aspects of the development cycle. Currently, Kyle is an associate broker for Marcus and Millichap. His primary objective being, to help clients identify asset strategies through the evaluation of market information, industry reports, books/records, and forward-looking trends, with an emphasis on exclusive listing representation. Kyle is committed to the highest level of client service and his consistent communication, honesty, and direct involvement in the transaction process helps minimize disruption and maximize results.
Kyle is a graduate of the Trulaske College of Business at the University of Missouri where he studied Business Management and Hospitality Management. Having spent 10+ years in the Hospitality sector, he carries with him the many lessons learned from industry mentors and family members alike, of which he now has the opportunity join in his new role with MAH. His primary focus with the team will be to identify new business opportunities, develop client relationship and grow the Cash 4 Discount model throughout the Midwest and Southeast region.
Kyle lives in Nashville, TN with his wife, Tara and dog Tiko. Their family and friends are an important aspect of their lives. Together, they enjoy spending time outdoors fishing, hiking, golfing, traveling and listening to live music!
